In 2007, a series of events served to inspire the creation of what is now called, The Silo Effect. Since it’s inception, the Richmond-based quartet has been carefully crafting their own brew of electronic space-rock. All the while, seducing listeners up and down the east coast. Deriving their sound from an eclectic blend of forms and styles, The Silo Effect oozes colorful sonic landscapes, riddled with vivid melodies, infectious grooves, and soaring climaxes.

Members of the Silo Effect are fundamentally bound to ensure that their artistic platform is one grounded in promoting a culture of music and art in the most unifying light. In 2012 you can expect to see the release of The Silo Effect’s first full-length album, a follow up to the E.P. “Treehouse”, as well as their first Winter Tour.
